May 25th Invited to attend the Memorial day mass at Saint Francis Desales and led the Memorial Day Parade in Rockaway Park, NY 11694.

July 10th organized and tasked inbound military angel flight AUS AA 763 at JFK airport, United States Army Sergeant Sunil Thapa assigned to 3rd Cavalry Regiment Fort Hood Texas escorted by Sergeant Eboa Alain received by Charles J. Oshea Funeral Home 603 Wantagh Ave. Wantagh,NY 11793.

June 14th Played TAPS at a flag pole dedication for Flag Day to Honor World War II Hero James O’Brien for his courageous service during World War ll which was held at Callie’s on Beach 129th Street Belle Harbor, NY.

James O’Brien, a member of the famed 389th Bomb Group Army Air Force Squadron — the same squadron as legendary actor Jimmy Stewart — will be remembered for his heroic actions during the war.

According to a 1946 letter written to O’Brien’s family, while piloting a B-24 aircraft through severe weather over England, O’Brien remained at the controls of the aircraft so that his fellow servicemen could safely parachute to safety. His selfless actions saved many lives. Tragically, he perished while carrying out this heroic action.

June 24th invited to attend a Veteran breakfast hosted by the Rockaway Graybeards at the Rockaway Yacht Club.

July 8th assisted the Hope for the Warriors during their travels in and out of JFK airport.

Set a cigar display donated by Sherries Lounge and Enami Cigars from Kansas City Missouri to distribute to the Veterans at the Luau that was held at Breezy Point, NY.

July 15th Participated with members of TWU Local 501 and other TWU locals at City Hall at the TWU Local 100 Rally to save the carriage riders jobs and horses. 

July 16th contacted by the funeral director of Leo Kearns Funeral home of Ozone Park, NY. If I was able to assist with the dignified transfer of Staff Sergeant Angel Rampersad. Assisted the family members a sister who was traveling to NY from Pensacola Florida and a cousin who is stationed in Hawaii. Reached out to DFW and PHX customer care agents who assisted the family members by waiting for the flights to arrive at the hub and they were given admirals club access. Attended the private wake. 

July 16th organized and tasked inbound transfer military angel flight CLT AA 657 at JFK airport, United States Navy Chief Petty Officer Kossi Kotor escorted by United States Marine Captain Aidan Kuester. Final destination Brussels.

July 24th organized and tasked inbound military angel flight CLT AA 1811 at EWR airport, United States Army Specialist Jonathan Greco escorted by Sergeant First Class Kenneth Rickard received by Scanlon Funeral Home 781 Newark Pompton Turnpike Pompton Plains, NJ 07444.

August 12th organized and tasked inbound military angel flight DFW AA 2861 at EWR airport, United States Airforce Senior Airman Michael A. Pabon assigned to the 377 Security Forces Squadron Kirkland AFB Albuquerque, New Mexico, escorted by Senior Airman Adam Diaz. Contacted the FDNY Coordinator who reached out to the EWR fire department in which American flags were displayed along the route from the airport to the funeral home. August 14th assisted JFK NYPD Coordinator/Intelligence Bureau Detective John McCue with the  organization and tasking of inbound NYPD angel flight PUJ AA 1058 at JFK airport, NYPD Officer Rebecca DePaula assigned to the 46th Precinct Bronx,NY received by Sisto Funeral Home 3489 E. Tremont Ave Bronx, NY 10465.
