Apr 14th escorted WW ll Army Veteran Staff Sergeant Dominick Critelli 105 years old and his daughter Sue from Floral Park Queens. Expedited through priority check in,TSA and admitted them at the admirals club. Contacted Nashville and they reciprocated them same.
April 14th attended the wake of Aircraft maintenance Mechanic Supervisor Phillip A. Guerra. Displayed the military flags.
April 16th organized and tasked inbound military angel flight 657 at JFK United States Army Private First Class Roylotte Campbell assigned to Fort Jackson South Carolina. Escorted by First Sergeant George Chandler. April 17th escorted First Sergeant Chandler to Terminal 1 retained access to the Luthansa lounge and coordinated with the Port Authority Police for him to oversee the transfer of the human remain ramp side onboard Luthansa flight to Belgium with final destination to Liberia.
April 20th organized and tasked plane side departure Angel flight Montego Bay Jamaica JFK AA 1349 for Cargo fleet service agent Harvey Glenford. PAPD escorted his family onto the ramp.
April 23rd organized and tasked inbound repatriation military angel flight DFW AA 1043 at JFK assisted by Crew Chief M. Garcia. WW ll United States Army Staff Sergeant Nicholas J. Governale. Escorted by First Sergeant Justin McGarvey. Received by Village Chapel Funeral home 67-67 Elliot Ave Middle Village ,NY 11379.
April 24th attended the funeral service and mass for Staff Nicholas Governale at Lady of Mount Carmel church at 21-1 Havemeyer Street Brooklyn, NY 11211.
May 4th contacted by Danny Prince retired FDNY Ambassador to the Gary Sinise Foundation. Danny had informed me that two Volunteers from the Fire family transportation foundation were traveling out of JFK with a high sensitive item that was going to be presented to Gary Sinise. Escorted them through priority check in, TSA and admitted them into the admirals club. Personally ensured that the plaque was loaded onto the plane. Danny informed me that he was flying out of LGA and the same courtesies were applied for him. Notified BNA and they reciprocated the same on the return.
May 9th Volunteered with the Big Apple Honor flight out of LGA to DCA with 80 Veterans. LGA Local 501 Section Chairman Jose Maribel, Ray Ruiz LGA and Ray Ruiz Jr from JFK. were present as they volunteered assisting with the set up and with the Veterans getting them to the airplane. Jose Maribel ensured that the wheel chairs were loaded.
