With the company continuously throwing out policy after policy without a respectful dialog with our TWU Local 501 Leadership, It’s prudent that our members seek out Union Officers and representatives to get the most up to date advice and information before moving forward with any policy changes on the job. The most recent policy the company is trying to implement is how an IOJ should be reported.

It seems the company wants to eliminate the managers responsibility in taking a member’s report and providing a case number. This is an unacceptable practice and our leadership is doing our best to resolve what we believe is unethical behavior by the company and we are in the mist of Bringing our shop stewards up to speed on our position so they may help you when needed.

Our goal is to get American to respectfully agree to our terms.
