THIS IS A TWU 501 PRESIDENTS COMMUNICATION AS OF MARCH 18, 2020.

I understand there is a lot of frustration and confusion pertaining to the voting on JCBA”s.

The Association has communicated the below highlighted information.

Voting will take place on Thursday, March 26. 

Specific information regarding voting locations and times will soon be available on TWU local and IAM local and district websites along with the Association website.

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT ALTHOUGH RUMORS,OPINIONS AND SOCIAL MEDIA OUTLETS HAVE

REACHED MANY OF OUR MEMBERS PERTAINING TO THE VOTING PROCESS.

AS OF TODAY MARCH 18TH, 2020 I WOULD LIKE TO REITERATE WHAT WAS COMMUNICATED IN A TWU LOCAL 501 PRESIDENTS MESSAGE DATED MARCH 5TH, 2020.

THE VOTING PLAN HAS YET TO BE FINALIZED!  

Once again, as soon as the voting plan is completed the Association will communicate the information to the members ASAP.

With the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, it certainly has not helped the voting process in any way.

So, TWU Local 501 will as always put out information that is accurate and as timely as possible.
