Help a Veteran – Please send a birthday card!

We need your help!

We would like to get Birthday Cards sent to celebrate the 103rd birthday of a very special American hero. 82nd Airborne, WWII Veteran, James “Maggie” Megellas who turns 103 years young in March 11th.

James “Maggie” Megellas (born March 11, 1917) is a retired United States Army officer who commanded a platoon in Company H of the 3rd Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment (PIR), 82nd Airborne Division during World War II. He is “the most decorated officer in the history of the 82nd Airborne Division.”

Maggie’s remarkable service to our country was only part of his extraordinary story. In his own words, he says “My Mission is not yet complete!” Maggie continues to serve by inspiring the youth of America to become the greatest generation.

Cards can be hand-written or purchased Birthday Cards. We are trying to surprise him with an old-fashion WWII mail delivery on carts with thousands of letters.

Please join with us and send your birthday message to us and we will deliver them to Maggie at a special Birthday Celebration on March 10th in Dallas. Please feel free to share this with anyone you know who would want to help honor this WWII hero.

Cards can be mailed to:
