House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure
Tomorrow, TWU International President John Samuelsen will testify before the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure to talk about the state of aviation safety.
He will discuss the safety concerns of frontline workers. Other witnesses include representatives of the families of Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302, labor leaders, and the National Transportation Safety Board.
President Samuelsen will share his views on threats to aviation safety, specifically concerning foreign aircraft repair stations, toxic cabin air, and other issues important to TWU members and the flying public.
The hearing will begin at 10 a.m. eastern, but please note that President Samuelsen is testifying on the second panel and it’s unclear exactly when he will begin speaking.
