RE: AA Negotiations

Brothers and Sisters:

As many of you may have heard, we have reached a critical point in negotiations with the company. Following the interim wage agreement last fall, American Airlines has continued to stall and deploy divisive tactics inhibit the bargaining process. The Executive Committee, led by Association Chair Sito Pantoja and Vice Chair Harry Lombardo, will take the lead at the bargaining table  oving forward, with the full presence and support of the current negotiating committee behind them.

Make no mistake: The strength, resources and powerful presence of two International Unions at the table with the world’s largest airline is exactly what our members deserve and it is the support we need as we move into the more complex economic articles of these negotiations. Both committees remain committed to working with Association leadership to fight for our members’ best interests at every turn, and remain unified in our mission to negotiate the best possible contract. With TWU and IAM International union leadership by our side, we are prepared to work until we reach an agreement that recognizes our members’ hard work, and restores their dignity and respect on the job.

In Solidarity,

Sean Doyle
International Vice President
